The British School Al Khubairat is looking to employ a full-time Professional Sports Coach (Basketball), to commence as soon as possible. The role involves supporting the Head of Sport Coaching to ensure high levels of coaching across a range of abilities.
Candidates should have GCSE’s, Secondary School Leavers certificate or equivalent. Relevant coaching qualifications are highly desirable with any previous experience of working with children in sport preferable.
The core hours would be Monday to Thursday 7.25am until 2.45pm and Fridays 7.25am until 11.30am, a commitment of four extra curriculum sessions per week is mandatory. BSAK sports offering does extend into the weekend irregularly but when needed staff will be called upon to coach, these dates will be published early in the year to allow adequate time to plan. This role does demand support and potential lead on an extra sport outside of the basketball term.
