Odoo Developer & QA Specialist

A vacancy has arisen for an Odoo Developer & QA Specialist role, with employment to commence as soon as possible. This is a permanent role, with employment to commence as soon as possible. 

The main objective of the role is to lead the in-house development, testing, and vendor transition of the School's Odoo ERP system. Key focus areas include customising modules, automating quality assurance, and integrating data across platforms like iSAMS and Power BI to support school operations.  

Proven experience in Odoo development, Python, SQL, API integrations, and QA testing is essential, while familiarity with iSAMS, Power BI, and PowerShell scripting is desirable. Candidates must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  Candidates are expected to be adaptable, motivated, and able to work closely with a range of stakeholders.  Attention to detail is key, and they will need proven troubleshooting experience and the ability to work to strict deadlines.  

The hours are 7.15 am to 3 pm Monday to Thursday and 7.15 am to 11.30 am on Fridays. The role includes 33 days of annual leave and public holidays.

The ideal candidate will have a degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant subject area. Professional certifications in Odoo, SQL, or Microsoft Power BI are highly desirable.  The successful candidate will ideally have their own sponsorship; however, we can arrange sponsorship if required.
